The gac-software.com website (hereafter referred to as the “Website”) was developed by the simplified joint-stock company GAC Software (hereafter referred to as “GAC Software”), a publisher of management software for professional use (hereafter referred to as the “User”).

The User may be required to send personal data (hereafter referred to as the “Data”) by completing fields contained on the Website when requesting to contact us, when registering for custom demonstration services or when web conferencing.
The words “you”, “your”, “User” or “Visitor” refer to any natural person accessing the Website and using the Service governed by this Privacy Policy.
GAC Software attaches great importance to the privacy and confidentiality of your information and personal data.

- Identification data: at the time of the contact request by the User, GAC Software records the User’s first and last name, email address and telephone number, as well as the name of the User’s company.

3. Sharing the Users’ personal data with GAC Software’s data processors and third-party businesses: who can access your personal data?
Your data is exclusively for GAC SOFTWARE’s use. It can only be disclosed to the recipients mentioned hereafter in as far as the forwarding of such data is vital to the attainment of the purposes listed in 2) above.
The User’s personal data may be shared with GAC Software’s data processors and third-party companies for the performance of hosting and maintenance services regarding the client databases.
These service providers have limited access to the data for the performance of the services and are contractually obliged to use said data in compliance with the provisions of the applicable personal data protection regulations;
- If the law requires it, GAC Software may forward data in order to comply with legal or regulatory requirements, court orders, summonses, legal proceedings, or to comply with administrative and judicial procedures;
- If GAC Software is involved in a merger, acquisition, disposal of assets or insolvency proceedings, it may be required to transfer or share all or part of its assets, including personal data. In this case, the Users will be informed before such personal data is transferred to a third party.
4. Data retention period
In accordance with the law, your personal data is only stored for the period necessary for the performance of the aforementioned end purposes and to enable GAC Software to meet its legal obligations.
Thus, the data collected at the time of your contact request is stored for the time necessary to process it.
Personal data used for commercial prospecting purposes may be stored for a maximum of three (3) years as of the end of the commercial relationship.
5. The transfer of personal data abroad
GAC Software informs the User that no personal data is currently transferred outside the EU. The processed data is hosted in France or in the European Economic Area.
GAC Software undertakes to comply with the legal provisions concerning the transfer of personal data abroad: the transfer of any data outside the EU will be based on an adequacy decision, governed by standard contractual data protection clauses or by ad hoc contractual clauses authorised beforehand by the French data protection authority(CNIL).

GAC SOFTWARE deploys organisational, technical, software-based and physical techniques in the field of digital security to protect personal data against damage, tampering or unauthorised access. GAC Software reserves the right to make any modifications to this Privacy Policy at any time. If a modification is made to this Privacy Policy, GAC Software undertakes to publish the new version on its Website. GAC Software will also inform the Users of the modification by email within a minimum of fifteen (15) days before the said modifications take effect. If the User is not in agreement with the terms of the new wording of the Privacy Policy, he/she may request the deletion of his/her data by GAC Software.
